Bithart / Legal
Cookie policy.
Last updated: 28 October 2026
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Local storage works in a similar way. We use only what is strictly necessary unless you allow more, and nothing optional loads before you choose.
Your choice
On your first visit we ask which categories you allow. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and the site works fully either way. You can change your choice at any time; withdrawing consent removes the cookies we can reach and reloads the page without those tools.
Categories
- Strictly necessary. Remembers your cookie choice and keeps the site secure. The site needs this to work, so it cannot be switched off. Tools: Consent record.
- Analytics. Counts visits and shows which pages and steps people use, so we can improve the site. We do not use it to identify you. Tools: Google Analytics 4 (not in use yet).
- Marketing. Measures whether our adverts on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn lead to visits and enquiries, and lets us show Bithart adverts to people who visited this site. Tools: Meta Pixel (not in use yet), LinkedIn Insight Tag (not in use yet).
Cookies and storage we use
Durations are those published by each provider and can change. Meta and LinkedIn may also read cookies on their own domains if you are logged in to their services; their own cookie policies apply to that.
What we do not use
Bitsy, the AI guide, and the project diagnostic keep their state in browser memory, not in cookies. Fonts and visuals are served by the site itself, not by a third-party font service.
Browser controls
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage means we cannot remember your choice and will ask again.
